Miss E. M. Thompson took up her duties as a Student-Teacher on the Staff of this school to-day.

28 August 1914

Attendance has been seriously affected this week, as a result of many families being still on holiday. Nᵒ on books = 325 of which 50 have been absent throughout the entire week. Percentage present = 80.%

31 August 1914

Miss A. M. Hope, terminated her appointment on the staff of the School to-day, after six years of splendid service in the Senior department.

1 September 1914

Miss Frances May Mack took up a temporary appointment here, pending the re-opening of the North School.

2 September 1914

Miss Bulau, Instructress in Drill, visited the School this afternoon.

10 September 1914

Dr Rutherford visited the School this morning and examined a number of children previously found defective.

11 September 1914

Attendance this week 88.5%. Nᵒ on books = 328. Nᵒ present at all = 304. Average 290.5.
Miss Frances Mack (C) and Miss L. Handscomb (ST) concluded their temporary engagements at this School to-day, taking up their permanent appointments at the Whitley North School on Monday first.
