In consequence of the impending occupation of these Schools by the military during the winter months, all stock required for school use has been forwarded to the Whitley North School, which are to be occupied during the afternoons by the children attending this school. The following is a Summary of instructions received from the managers relative to the new arrangements. 1. South School Mixed Dept to attend North School Boys' Dept, on and after Oct 5th, from 1.30 to 4.30. 2. South School Mixed Dept occupy North School Girls Dept, at same times, from Christmas Holidays 3. Registers to be marked twice

Miss Hilda Robson (Uncertf Std 3) absent owing to severe cold. James Gibson (Certf), St. 6, late this afternoon owing to indisposition. (1.45. 3/4 hr late). Mrs Treble visited the school this afternoon, hearing a lesson given by Mrs Thompson (S.T.).

Mrs Lydia Kelly took up a temporary appointment on the staff of the School to-day. Miss Robson returned after an absence of one week.
