School re-opened this morning. The attendance is still much below normal. No on books 312; No present this morning 267; afternoon 273.

Medical Inspection of about 100 children commenced to-day.

29 November 1912

Medical Inspection concluded this afternoon. The average attendance this week has been 277, representing a percentage of 88.7%. Many cases of sickness (measles, fever &c) still exist.

11 December 1912

Mr Nicholls visited the School this afternoon, and examined the registers of St 7.

19 December 1912

School closed at noon to-day for the usual Christmas Holiday. Date of re-opening Jan 6th 1913.

School re-opened this morning.

8 January 1913

Two children, Norman & Eleanor Nicholson, have contracted diphtheria. These are the first cases in the Senior department, though there have recently been seven cases in the Junior dept. The two children mentioned, having been absent throughout the week, have evidently contracted the disease during the Christmas Holiday.
