Miss Crook started today as supply teacher.

Mrs Casey returned today & Miss Crook finished work on Friday January 19th.

Owing to an epidemic of coughs & influenza colds the attendances for two weeks have fallen below 60%. - Week ending January 26th - 58.8% February 2nd - 58.6%. In accordance with Paragraph 15 (11) these attendances have been cancelled.

23 February 1940

Miss Blackburn is ill with German measles. She was at school this morning but was unable to return this afternoon.

Miss Blackburn returned to school on Monday March 11th. I have been absent for one week with influenza. I returned to school today.
