Headmaster leaves School at 3 pm in order to attend County Hall to assist in scrutiny of Grading Exam scripts (Dec. 1951). Since four members of Staff will not be available from 3.30pm onwards: School will close at that time.

Nurse Turnbull in School to make arrangements for children to visit Eye Clinic next week. Mrs McHagon still absent. During Mrs Hagon's absence Headmaster takes charge of Std 2A & Miss Leggettes Std 1A. Time Table proceeds normally.

Mrs McHagon resumes her school duties today. School Attendance for the week is 89.1%. Mumps still prevalent in School.

Mrs J Eskdale (née Miss Knowles) absent all day with indigestion. Immunisation forms (from Dr. Cunningham) sent to parents with children due for 'booster dose'. Heavy & continuous fall of snow today (p.m.) but attendance is 240/261 = 91.9%.
