…been continually absent from her duties since December 8th 1950.

3 April 1951

School reopens after Easter Holiday. Mrs C Davis (Canteen Auxiliary) does not resume her duties as previously stated but informs me by letter that she cannot commence before 'the early part of May.' No medical certificate was enclosed but I forward the correspondence to the Director.

4 April 1951

Mrs Mitchell resumes her duties as Temporary Canteen Auxiliary

9 April 1951

School clock falls from wall & casing is badly damaged. Two electric bulbs, shades & fittings torn away from the flex in Std I room and found in the waste paper basket. Mr Lorimer, the Caretaker, does not know how this happened.

Dispatch Needlework requisition.

13 April 1951

School Attendance is 93.8%.

16 April 1951

Police Detectives Chapman & Nicholson visit School p.m. to ask me if I would enquire of Norman Parker, 5 Devonshire Terrace if he knew anything about the theft of model aeroplanes from a house in Carlton
