I have purchased out of School Funds a Bolex silent Film Projector from the Monkseaton County Modern School.

The film projector was tested this afternoon and films shown to the children. It was an instant success & providing good educational films can be hired our Visual Aids Units will be complete and classroom teaching should be consolidated. School closes this afternoon at 4 p.m. for the Autumn Holiday (one week & one day). The Average Attendance has improved this week being 93.2%.

Dismiss School at 3.30 p.m. on account of Bring & Buy Sale organised by Staff for School Funds. Children purchase 3.30 - 4.0 p.m. followed by parents. Record crowd of parents awaiting admission. Sale a tremendous success. Takings £36. 13. 3½. Parents publicly thanked by me. Sale completed by 5. 30 p.m.
