On Tuesday. 10th inst. - Miss Wilson County P.T. Organiser saw Classes IIa and IIb between 2.30 and 4 p.m. . Dr. Piercy examined Ella Henderson of Class IIc during the same afternoon. The B.B.C. Receipt for Spring Pamphlets for £2.50 was sent to the school correspondent today to reclaim from the County Accountant. Weekly attendance = 93.6%

20 January 1939

National Savings = 15/-. Attendance Officer reported on 17th inst. (Tues.) at 11.50 am. METER READINGS - Water........ 6,590,000 Electric Downstairs ... 2,687 Upstairs .... 2,308 GAS = .... = 1,222,000 Weekly Attendance = 93.4 %. Most of the 130 odd new volumes for the School Library have arrived.

27 January 1939

National Savings = 13/6. Attendance Officer called on Tuesday 24th., at 10.40 am. Weekly attendance = 92%. Term Examinations are proceeding quietly day by day.

3 February 1939

National Savings = 10/6. On Tuesday at 4.30 pm. ... 31/1/39 ... Mr. Aifong... teacher doing "supply" duty finished, he having been appointed to the permanent staff of Gosforth C/E Mxd. On WEDNESDAY .. 1/2/39 .. Mr. Sampson Main began duty as "supply". Class IVc has been placed in his charge.
