Classes IVa. IVb. IVc. V had their Coronation TEA, after which each child was presented with a CORONATION BEAKER and ½ lb. bar of Milk Chocolate.

CORONATION of George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Boys and Girls to run in Semi-finals of Sports' Events met on Rockcliffe Sports' Field before a crowd of adults. At 4.50pm Councillor Richley handed 99 prizes to the winners. The Sports began at 2.15pm. and were under the management of the HEADMASTER and his STAFF.
