Examined Classes IIIB & IVA

18 December 1936

National Savings = 10/- On Tuesday - 14th - Classes IIa and IIb ie 96 children had their Christmas Party which lasted from 4-15 to 7.30 pm. On WED. 15th. inst- Miss M.M.Winser H.M.I. inspected most of the classes from 10am. until 4.25pm. On the same evening Classes IIIa. IIIb. ie 119c had their Christmas Party ... 119 pupils. On Thursday - 16th. Miss M.M.Winser continued her inspection of the remaining classes and departed at noon. On Friday - 18th. Classes IVa. IVb and V had their PARTY ... 125 children. All the members of the Staff assisted at the three parties. Weekly attendance = 93.9 %. [margin: A.M.I.]

22 December 1936

National Savings = 6/6. Weekly attendance = 93.2% Monthly " = 94.3%. The attendance Shield for the District is awarded to the school for December's attendance.

8 January 1937

At 4.30pm. the Christmas Holiday begins. School re-opened on Wednesday 6th. inst. with a full staff and an excellent attendance. National Savings = 9/- For the second time our school has meritted the holding of the Attendance Shield for one month, ie during January. METER READINGS... Water ... 5,123,000 Electric ... upstairs,10040 downstairs 1170 Gas ... [illegible] [margin: National Savings = 8/-] Weekly attendance = 98.5%
