School closes at 4.30pm. to-day for the christmas holiday.

6 January 1936

School re-opened this morning : there was a good attendance and a full staff. Two children were admitted. National Savings = 12/6. Attendance Officer called and took a list of absentees at 2pm.

9 January 1936

METER READINGS --- Water 4,181,000 gal. Gas 880,000 Electric 407.21 443.1475

10 January 1936

Attendance Officer reported on Wednesday 8th inst. Weekly attendance = 94.8%. Three children have been admitted and seven have left.

Miss Bates is absent to-day. METER READINGS. to-day are Water 4,441,000 Gas 890,000 Electric - Upstairs - 455 Down " 491

Miss Bates returned to duty this morning. Weekly attendance = 92.6%

Strong S.E. WIND, SLEET, HEAVY RAIN, caused more than 100 children to be absent this morning. For the afternoon session the attendance improved.
