…on Friday at 2.30pm. War Savings = 8/6. Weekly attendance = 94%. Stock Cupboards has been emptied to enable caretakers to wash shelves etc. Whit. Holiday begins at 4.30pm to day. School reopens on Wednesday 23rd. inst.

25 May 1934

School reopened on Wednesday with a full staff and an excellent attendance. War Savings for the week = 7/-. Value of War-Savings Stamps sold during the year ending 31. 3. 34 = £19. 10. 6. Yesterday, being Empire Day, was kept in an appropriate manner by a celebration in the Hall from 3.15 to 4.20pm. Half way through the Programme an address was given by the Headmaster. Classes II a, II b, and III c have been examined in reading. Weekly Attendance = 95.5 %.

1 June 1934

War Savings on Monday = 11/6. All the classes have been examined in reading. Attendance Officer called on Monday and Friday. Weekly Attendance = 94%.

8 June 1934

Six children have been marked left and one girl has been admitted during the week. War Savings = 12/-. School Nurse inspected all children to day and reported 13 children with 'dirty' heads. Weekly Attendance 93%

15 June 1934

War Savings = 14/6. The school nurse (Miss Turnbull) followed up 'dirty' cases on Wednesday 13th. inst.
