School Nurse called on Thursday - 6th inst. at 2pm and arranged Medical Cards. Attendance Officer has called several times during the week. On Monday about 60 children were kept away from school as a protest against re-organisation arrangements. "Service Agreements", to be signed by each teacher and duly witnessed, have been handed to all members of the Staff except Miss A.P. Hall - Class II B. Fifteen children have been admitted during the week and two have left. Total number on books now = 428. Weekly Attendance = 92.1%. The provisional TIME-TABLE after one or two minor alterations appears to be working quite satisfactorily.

On Monday 10th. War Savings total = 8/6. On Tuesday at 10.15. Mr Davis. Building Inspector N.C.C. called after investigating a complaint against an unpleasant smell near Infants' & Girls' W.Cs. Attendance Officer has called three times during the week. Four children have been admitted and one has left, leaving a total of 429 on Register. Weekly Attendance = 95%
