End of Second quarter. In order to rectify the unduly high average ages of the lower classes, and to replace vacancies in the diminishing senior class, ten children have been promoted from Stds 3 to 6 inclusive to the next higher class.

School re-opened this morning. Attendance much below normal (83%). Many cases seem to be due to recent vaccination
Miss Stephen (St) absent for purposes of interview in connection with her application for admission to Leeds Training College.

Attendance still much depreciated, 88% this week as against 85% last week. chiefly due to the after effects of vaccination.

Wm Nuttall visited the school this afternoon for the purpose of supervising the work of the three Student Teachers.
