26 July 1923

Mr Nuttall visited the school to-day.

27 July 1923

School closed for the usual Midsummer Vacation.

27 August 1923

School re-opened to-day. Miss Dorothy Newcombe and Miss E. B. Dunlop commenced duties as Student-Teachers to-day.
In addition to the four scholarships awarded, the names of fourteen children have been notified as having passed the recent Scholarship examination.

31 August 1923

Mrs Ingram severed her connection with the staff of this school to-day, after a service of 13 years exactly.

3 September 1923

Miss Dorothy Morton commenced duty as a supply U.C. teacher to-day.

11 September 1923

Dr Gabriel called to inspect one child - Jean Dales.

17 September 1923

Children leaving for the Secondary Schools have now reduced the numbers on the books to 315.
Miss Robson absent this afternoon - evidently indisposed during the morning session.

18 September 1923

Left School at 9.30 owing to family bereavement. Returned 10.30
Miss Robson returned to duty this morning.
