School closed to-day for the usual Summer Vacation. (5 weeks). Date of re-opening 28.8.16.

28 August 1916

Wm McQuillen took up the Temporary Headship of this School. Mr Marley was appointed to the Staff for the period of the war. Doris Boudry (P.T.), E Johnson, + B. Slater (Student Teachers) were appointed as from 1st August.

The whole of the Girls of this School have been transferred to the Whitley North Council Girls' School. The boys in Stds V — Ex VII are to attend whole time with Whitley N. Council Boys' School, while the lower classes II III + IV remain on half time
