Five children left the school to-day. No on books now 298.

14 February 1913

Percentage of attendance this week 85.8%. Thirty children absent throughout the entire week.

27 February 1913

W. H. Clothier, certificated-assistant, absent this afternoon owing to circumstances attending his removal from Whitstable to Whitley Bay

28 February 1913

Attendance shows a slow tendency towards recovery, some of the children who have been absent for many weeks owing to infectious troubles having returned. The average attendance this week is 264.3 and the percentage 89.3

5 March 1913

Miss Warriner (St 4) absent owing to indisposition.

7 March 1913

Miss Warriner, returned to school after an absence of two days.

17 March 1913

Three children admitted to-day who are much above the normal age of their respective standards. These children are (1) Isabella Sanderson (12 11/12) in St4 (2) Florence Robinson (13 5/12) in St 4 (3) Rowland Howe (12 11/12) in Std 3. In each case, the respective children are poorly equipped for the classes in which they have been placed.

School closed for the usual Easter Holiday. Reopen 31st inst.

31 March 1913

School reopened this morning. No on books 290. Attendance (270) now shows a return to normal conditions, after six months of epidemic troubles.
