As a result of the recent Temperance address given to the upper classes, 77 certificates were received to-day for essays written by the children, on "Alcohol".

No on books this week = 284. Average 264. Percentage 93.2. Miss Stoker still absent.

Attendance this week has reached 94.5%

School closed at noon to-day for the usual Easter vacation extending to April 15th

Miss Robertson, Instructress in Needlework, visited the school this afternoon.

The School year ended to-day. The average attendance for the year was 274, representing a percentage of 90.9%, a decline on the results of previous years, chiefly due to the epidemic of measles in June last. No on books on last day of school year = 278

The various classes were promoted to-day. 42 children were transferred from the Junior Dept to St II. The disposition of the members of the staff for the coming year is as follows:-
