…affected by the prevalence of colds, influenza etc. The number of children on the books this week = 289, of whom 27 have been absent during the entire week. The average attendance is 243.6 representing a percentage of 84.3.

12 February 1912

Miss Rogers returned to school after an absence of two days. Miss Hope and Miss Stoker still absent. Mr Gibson absent this morning in addition to those already mentioned. Returned on 14th Feb

15 February 1912

Miss Hope returned to school to-day.

20 February 1912

Shrove Tuesday. School closed at noon.

22 February 1912

Mr Treble visited the school to-day, inspected the stock-book, and supervised the lessons of the student-teachers.

26 February 1912

Miss Warriner absent through illness.

28 February 1912

Miss Warriner returned after an absence of two and a half days.

8 March 1912

No on books this week 282, average 258.9. Miss Stoker returned to school on Tuesday last, (March 5th) in the afternoon, but collapsed, and was sent home early.
