There are 15 children absent through illness, There are 4 cases of chicken-pox , 2 of Whooping-cough and one of ring-worm in the head. The remaining children are ill with colds, debility &c . E.J.B The average attendance last week was only 160.3 with 185 children on roll , the % being only 86.6.

School closed at mid-day for the Race Week's Holiday . E. J. B.
