Mrs A Davies, Brian Dene Av. Whitley Bay (Canteen Auxiliary) absent from duty today as she is going into Preston Hospital for a nose operation. Temporarily replaced by Mrs A. Storey of 7 Marden Cresc. Whitley Bay. Although the weather conditions have been extremely bad this week the School Attendance is 89.8%.

Grading Examination held today. Mr N.O. Perry, Headmaster of Whitley Grammar School, is Superintendent of the Examination in this School. Seventy seven pupils are due to take the exam. I go to Whitley R.C. School.
