Mr Lynn (C. Inspector) calls to see Mr Hazon who is still in probationary period.

7 Cases of Canadian apples (British Columbia) are sent as a gift to the children of this School. The apples are distributed today. The kind donor is A.K. Loyd Esq., The President, British Columbia Tree Fruits Ltd., Kelowna, British Columbia. Appropriate letters of thanks are sent by children.

School attendance for week is 95.7%.

8 May 1950

Miss Dransfield (3a) + Miss Oldroyd (1), students from Kenton Lodge T.C. commence three weeks School Practice. Miss McGC Smith called home suddenly pro:- Near relative dangerously ill.

School closed all day as building is being used as Polling Station for U.D.C. Elections.
