After Assembly this morning the Headmaster gave a talk to the entire School on "Road Safety".

24 March 1950

Miss Jacques (P.T. Organiser) in School a.m. & p.m. to see P.T. Classes, Country Dancing & Netball Team (Involving Misses Leggetter, Letchon, Smithies & Mrs Hazon). A police constable calls to make arrangements for Road Safety Talks by police officers next Tues. 28/3/50.

28 March 1950

P.C.s Bartlam & Grant give Road Safety Talks to all classes in School (p.m.).

29 March 1950

Miss Jacques in School (p.m.) to teach Eightsome Reel & other Country Dances to girls in 4a, 4b, 3a & 3b. Mr Dobson (County Inspector) in School to see Miss B. Smithies who is in probationary year.

30 March 1950

School Canteen Committee meeting held in Infants' Dept. at 2 p.m. Those present were C. Coun. A. Whistle (Chairman), Coun. Mrs Allan & Mr Cannell, Miss Jackson (C. Organiser, meals) Miss Crisp & Mr Hardman. Principal business was the election of Cook Supervisor (Mrs Stewart) & Canteen Cook (Miss Blake).

School closes today (4 p.m.) for Easter Holiday & reopens Tuesday April 18th.
