Number of Children on Registers to-date = 371. Average Attendance for Week = 92.5% " " " month = 93.5%.

31 May 1949

Miss Marjorie Cook leaves this Staff for an appointment in the W. Monkseaton C.P. Junior School.

1 June 1949

Miss Lydia Peace commences as Supply Teacher taking charge of the Class left by Miss Cook (Std 2B). The Central Office of Information Mobile Film Unit visits School (Operator Mr Brolly). Films shown & appreciated by Children were on Sheep Dog Trials, Herring Fishing, The River Tyne and Home Designing. Nurse Turnbull visits School to inform six children that they will be required for Eye Inspection at the Clinic, West Monkseaton C.P. Junior School on June 9th at 9 a.m.

2 June 1949

Mr D.P. Jones, County Organiser P.T. (Boys) visits School a.m. to discuss the need for & to see a proposed field in Cullercoats
