Mr. C. Perfect, County Organiser, Music, to School in the afternoon. Saw Classes 1 and 3 and discussed the Music of the School with the Head Master.

Gas Masks inspected by Wardens. All Classes.

Miss A. Bell absent with leave. a.m. & p.m.

16 February 1944

Miss V. Sully to School. in connection with Drama

21 February 1944

School opened at 9. a.m. today after a period of late opening permitted by L.E.A.

23 February 1944

Miss C.H. Robson slipped on edge of Classroom Platform and sprained her ankle. Left school at 11am and is absent this afternoon.

29 February 1944

Mr. Ford, Headmaster, had to return home during the morning session on account of illness. From 10.45 not in.

2 March 1944

Dr. Everdell (County Medical Service) visited the school to see Douglas Garrick.

6 March 1944

Mrs. G.T. Lawson reported for duty as Supply Teacher, and was given charge of Class 6.

10 March 1944

The Naval circular has now been read by all. Miss Alexander and Miss Buchanan (County P.T. Service) visited school in afternoon, and saw a display of Country Dances by Class 3.
