…The whole building has lost 10 panes of glass. I have not reported to County Office as the Bursar has been and has the matter in hand.

22 April 1941

Dr Pierce to see four children re Milk. Joan Shields to come off Special Milk. Ronald Knight, William Knight, Gladys Peacock remain on Special Milk. Dr Pierce also saw Robert Oliver and Duncan Bowman.

25 April 1941

Monthly Return card 10 sent in, but no new Summary to hand.

28 April 1941

The School Building sustained slight damage through enemy action on Friday night, Apr. 25th. Sixty one panes of glass broken. These all filled up Sunday, [illegible]. Northumberland Correspondent acquainted with facts. The attendance marked +1 in [illegible] pupil in school at 9 a.m. Being tested for ability before classifying.
