The attendance for the week is 95.5 %. St V had only one child absent one half day. Lists of senior scholars to attend Monkseaton and Whitley North Council Schools have been sent to the Headmasters concerned.

National Savings on Monday = 7/6. On Wednesday Mr Leach returned to duty after an absence since May 13th. On Thursday no milk was supplied to the school. Weekly attendance = 93.9%. Today summer vacation begins at 4.30 pm. School re-assembles August 26th. 8.55 am. [margin: Holiday 4 wks]
