During the past week the electric current has been changed from D.C. to A.C. and the apparatus for working the ventilating fan has been altered to suit the new current. Also all the switches in the school have been renewed.

The attendance has fallen 9 this morning & 9 more this afternoon which may be partly due to the showery weather. Attendance for week 93.4% The school closed this afternoon for the usual Whitsuntide holiday (2 days.)

School re-opened this morning with an attendance of 384 out of 400. There were two admissions.

The attendance for this week was 95.3 per cent. St V had 100 per cent. & St IIIa had only one boy absent one half day.
