…for physical instruction called to see IV and V boys do drill. Attendance Officer looked in yesterday morning (24th inst.) to report. Rain. Wind and Snow have not assisted good attendance for the week: weekly attendance = 89.9%.

War Savings on Monday = 9/-. Weather on Monday and Tuesday was still very severe, and is hindering a recovery of good attendance. Attendance Officer called on Monday and Thursday. Weekly attendance = 88.3%.

8 February 1935

War Savings = 16/-. Attendance Officer reported and took a fresh list on Monday 4th inst.. On Wednesday 6th inst., the afternoon session was changed to 1.45pm. - 3.45pm. to enable the children to see the film "Wild Cargo" at the Picture House at 4pm. The children remaining in school were attended to by the Master.

War Savings = 13/6. Attendance Officer took a fresh list. This afternoon Miss Bates was granted leave of absence to play hockey in a County Match. Her class was taken by the Master. Weekly attendance = 90.5%.
