War Savings = 14/6 . Attendance Officer called on Monday and Wednesday. To-day, the school nurse inspected all pupils excepting those in IIa and IIb classes. Weekly attendance is slightly improved ie 86.5%. To-day, Robert Doyle of Class IIIa, confessed to having stolen money on four different occasions in school. As this boy is under Probation for 12 months, having been before the Children's Court for a similar offence committed out of school hours, I have sent a report to the Clerk to the Managers of the School: in the meantime I have sent the boy home to bring one or both of his parents to school.

12 November 1934

Since neither of the parents of the boy, Robert Doyle, has come to the school, I have requested the Attendance Officer to call at the boy's home to make a report.

13 November 1934

Robert Doyle with his step-father called to-day. As my Report concerning the boy Robert Doyle has been forwarded to County Hall by the School Correspondent, I have instructed the step-father to take care of the boy until instructions reach me from County Hall. To-day, Mr W. A. White, Supervisor of Handwork etc, called about 10.30 am.
