School closes at noon today for the Easter Holiday and re-opens on 24th. inst. Weekly Attendance = 89.5%

School re-opened with a full staff and an excellent attendance on Monday morning. Five pupils were admitted ... three from NEWCASTLE and two from West Hartlepool. On Tuesday at 11 a.m. Mr. W. A. White - Supervisor of Handicrafts - visited the school and inspected some of the work. Weekly attendance = 92·8%.

Grading Examination was held this morning and registers were not marked : children not sitting the examination had a whole day holiday while pupils who sat had the afternoon holiday.

Four pupils were admitted during the week. Weekly attendance = 92·4%.

Main Requisition was sent to Correspondent on 9th. inst. (Tuesday). Nine children were admitted during the week and two marked left. War Savings with last week's total 8/6. Weekly attendance = 94·2% School Nurse visited the school this morning.
