War Savings on Monday - 5th. inst - totalled 8/6 . Children continue to use the Penny Bank in addition . On Thursday - 8th. inst - at 1.15pm. a new Gestetner Duplicating Machine was delivered by hand at school . Term Examinations have been continued all the week . To day , an account has been opened at Barclay's Bank , Whitley Road , and is named "Whitley South Junior Council School Account (or Fund)" . Weekly attendance = 90 % .

Two children were admitted and four left last week. On Thursday 15th. inst. at 11am. Miss Alexander , Supervisor of Physical Instruction in County , called and promised to call soon to inspect P.T. work . Attendance Officer called at noon on Friday and left Form No. 126 . Weekly attendance fell to 88.4 %
