School closed from to day for the Annual Race Week holiday.
- July 8th
School was reopened this morning. Word was received that the following scholars had been granted free scholarships at the Secondary Sch.: Chas Irving, John R. Cusworth, James A. Norton, Annie Dawson, Joyce Taylor, Winifred B. Young, Winifred D. Kedderly, Clare R. Hedley. Term Exams. commenced.
- July. 9th
School nurse visited the School and inspected the children. (cleanliness).
- July. 10th
Mrs Jno Jewitt. who has been on Supply terminated her duties to day.
- July 11th
Mr. E. Burke re-commenced duty to day. The H.S. master, & Mrs Jewitt. took 41 children up to the N.E.C. Exhibition for the whole day.
