School reopened to-day. Scholarships have been awarded to the whole of the 9 children recently selected for interview (See 14. 6. 20)

School visited by Mr T. R. Williams, for the purpose of inspecting the work of Mr Dobson. (St 6)

School closed for the Midsummer Holiday (4 weeks)

16 August 1920

School re opened. A large number of children have left, reducing the number of children on the books to 332

20 August 1920

Attendance much reduced this week, many children being still on holiday. Average attendance = 273.3, percentage = 84.1. Number on books = 325.

31 August 1920

Mrs Derricks terminated her appointment on the staff of this school to make way for the return of Mr J. Corbett absent on military service since 9. 11. 14.

1 September 1920

Mr Corbett returned to school this morning.

16 September 1920

Mr Dobson absent to-day, having torn the ligaments of his hand by falling in the playground

Mr Dobson returned to school this morning.
