School re-opened this morning. 43 children received from Junior Dept. No on books now 352.

21 April 1920

Mr Raisbeck, Superintendent Attendance Officer, visited the school this morning. Mrs Gibson (St 5) absent to-day.

23 April 1920

Mrs Gibson returned after an absence of two days. Cause of absence: neuralgia. C. Councillor Robt White visited the school this afternoon and gave an interesting lantern lecture to St 7 on the Rhine illustrated by his own slides. A vote of thanks was proposed and seconded by two of the pupils, Winifred Peel and Robt Foreman.

4 May 1920

Miss Copland absent this morning owing to indisposition. Returned for afternoon session.

14 May 1920

Miss Harrison, County Instructress of Needlework, visited the school this afternoon.

21 May 1920

School closed for the usual Whitsuntide holiday (two days)
