Medical inspection commenced to-day.

9 September 1919

Medical inspection completed. Children 8 yrs of age, and children over 12 have been examined.

12 September 1919

At a meeting of Managers on Tuesday last, the area served by this School was re-adjusted in consequence of the overcrowding in this department. The North School area now includes the whole of North Parade, Victoria Terrace and streets north of these. As a result 96 children have been transferred to the North School to day. (48 B and 48 Girl).

St 5 still overcrowded and promotions have therefore been made from St 5 to St 6, & from St 6 to St 7. As these changes are caused by accommodation considerations & are not based on attainment I have given instructions to teachers of Std 6 & 7 to make a rapid survey of previous work, especially in Arithmetic.

25 September 1919

Mr J. L. Brockbank H. M. I, paid his last visit to the School to-day before taking up his appointment in North Yorks.

29 September 1919

Miss McLaren, Count. Instructress in Physical Drill, visited the school this afternoon.

10 October 1919

School closed at 4 p.m for the usual Autumn holiday (one week)
