A visit of observation by Student-Teachers, seventeen in number, under the supervision of Mrs Sheble, was paid to this department to-day. Special lessons, illustrative of the methods of teaching the various subjects, were given by the teachers of the respective classes. By request of Mrs Sheble, a needlework demonstration was given by Miss Hope to the girls of Stds 6 & 7, and a lantern lesson on "Belgium" was given to St 5 by Miss Warriner.

27 November 1911

May Cobbold, Student Teacher, absent to attend a music examination. Isobel Rogers is to-day paying a visit of observation to the Hartly School.

8 December 1911

The medical inspection of the children not previously inspected, - and of those likely to leave School before August 1st 1912, commenced to-day.

Conclusion of the medical inspection.
