Miss Hope still absent. Medical certificate received: cause of absence - erythema.

School closed at noon to-day in order to prepare for the formal opening this evening. The opening ceremony was performed by Sir Francis Blake, under the chairmanship of Prof. M. R. Wright

Attendance this week 95.5%. N° on books 314. Average 300.

15 May 1911

Admitted five children. Irene Olive Guard, 11 yrs of age; one of those admitted, placed in Std 2. Std 1 was her class in previous school.

Miss Hope returned to School this morning after an absence of three weeks.

The History Scheme for the current year, as far as it applies to Stds 5, 6, and 7 has been amended. The concentric system has been abandoned for the periodic, as under.

St 7 1688 to present time
