School re-opened at 9 a.m.

All teachers have read the Circular for May.

A party of 78 children were taken to the Priory Theatre to attend a performance given by The Children's Theatre Company.
Miss Lockrane had leave from 3.15pm to attend a farewell meeting for Mr. H. Spink, Director of Education.

A robbery occurred in school between 11.45 - 11.55am. A purse and wallet were stolen from the Head Teacher's Room. The matter was reported to the Police, and a detective visited school.
Two teachers had noticed a man pass through the Hall - no contact made with any of staff.

Mrs. A. Dawson finished as a supply teacher.

Mrs. A.E. Ridgard began duty to-day as a permanent member of staff.

School was closed because of the local Council Elections.
