The School gardener trimmed the hedge and dug over the garden at the front of school.

5 October 1951

Nurse Turnbull carried out a cleanliness inspection of the whole school. There were no cases of uncleanliness.

9 October 1951

Mr Simpson H.M.I. visited school in the morning. He made a note of the numbers in the school, met the members of staff and inspected the premises, remarking upon their cleanliness.

11 October 1951

Miss Lockrane has been granted leave of absence for 12th & 15th October for personal reasons.

16 October 1951

Miss Lockrane resumed duty to-day. The Circular has been read by all teachers.

18 October 1951

Mrs. I. Melling absent. Mrs. H. Charlton began as supply teacher in her place. Two students from Alnwick T. College, Miss Davidson & Miss Sweeney spent
