Note from Mrs. Brockhurst says that yesterday's X-ray revealed no broken bones, merely a sprain to this wrist. Child returned to school today.

Mrs. Mary Faul returned to school today.

Nurse carried out cleanliness inspection.

Owing to several recent accidents to staff and pupils, Mr. Hardman, Head of the Junior Dept. has sent a letter to the managers advising them of the very dangerous condition of the school yards used jointly by the Infants and Junior Girls. I have fully endorsed his complaint.

24 November 1950

Mrs. C Carruthers left today, as her husband is returning from sea.

27 November 1950

Mrs. Annie Charlton began as supply teacher in place of Mrs. Carruthers. As we now have three members of staff (one permanent and two supply) who do not play the piano, I propose teaching Cl. 3 with Cl. 4. which I already take, for a number of the musical lessons. Cl 1
