21 February 1941

Owing to a very severe snowstorm which began on Wednesday 19th the attendance for Thursday 20th & Friday 21st fell below 55% & has accordingly been cancelled.

28 February 1941

The second diphtheric immunisation took place today. Thus completing the treatment of [illegible] children.

Examined & checked registers of Classes II. (30) & VI. (35) and found all correct.

23 March 1941

With the lighter days school times went back to normal, i.e. 9 am till 12 noon, 2 pm till 4.30 pm.

20 March 1941

An "Alert" sounded at 11.18 a.m. The children were in shelters for twenty minutes.

Alerts sounded yesterday from 8.55 am till 9.30 am & from 2.15 pm till 2.45 pm and today from 10.50 am till 11.20 am. The children were in shelters on each occasion.

An alert sounded at 1.55 pm & lasted till 2.35 pm. The children were in shelters.

School closed at midday on April 10th for Easter & re-opened today.
