Inspected on 20th & 21st Nov. 1935
Infants with Standard I.
The present Head Mistress, who was appointed in October 1932, took over a school in a sound condition, and with the continued loyal support of an able staff, she has fully maintained the standard set by her predecessor.
Since the last report, Std. II has been transferred to the Junior Department, and a reduction made in the staff. The same number of classes remain however, owing to the formation of a fifth class, which is in charge of the Head Mistress and which occupies the hall during certain periods of the day.
The classrooms are made very attractive and the teaching is brisk and stimulating.
The children show decided confidence in their reading & oral narration, while their written work and knowledge of number are sound.
