The attendance has fallen owing to many cases of whooping cough. Today there are many cases of Mumps.

Mr Chas. Nuttall, BA., Superintendent of Education visited school today. He examined the scripture in Standards I and II and heard the Student Teachers give lessons. He also checked the Time Book, Admission register, Summary and Log Book.

Examined Registers of Class III and Standard II Which are in order.

The attendance has continued to fall rapidly. There are only 66% of the children present today. Most of the children absent have Mumps.

This morning there are only 152 scholars present out of 271. That is 56%. There is a slight increase this afternoon. The fall in attendance today is partly due to bad weather but there are further cases of mumps.
