Miss Hall is absent with tonsilitis. A doctor's certificate has been forwarded. (EJB) At present, the Head Teacher will take the St I class & her class of Infants will have to group with the "babies" class.

Miss G. H. Jennings II has commenced temporary duty today, & will assist the "babies" teacher with the younger infants. (EJB)

Miss G. H. Jennings has terminated her temporary engagement today. Miss Hall is still absent & has forwarded another medical certificate. The two Pupil Teachers Miss Florence Jackson and Miss Annie Crisp (Senior P.Ts) are absent, although they were to have been at school on Monday Mar 17th. No explanation has been sent to the Head Teacher.

School closed at noon today for the Easter Vacation. EJB

School resumed. Miss Hall has returned to her duties. The two Pupil Teachers have also returned, & explain their absence, which seems to have been the result of some misunderstanding with the Local Education Authority. EJB
