Further Medical Inspection of scholars.

8 January 1913

The attendance is slightly better. but there are still numbers of the children absent through illness. There are a few cases of diphtheria & of scarlet fever in addition to the late outbreak of measles. The work of the school has been very much broken through sickness, for the last three months.

13 January 1913

The snow storm has further spoiled the attendance — today there are 76 children absent.

End of third quarter of school year, the work of the school has been retarded to a very considerable degree — several of the children are marked absent during the whole of the quarter, & one or two have absence marks for six months. There has
