End of the second quarter of the School Year; several children have been promoted from the lowest class to the higher, also from the Infants' division into the Second Division of St I. Such children have been promoted solely on account of their age, and not because of their ability. Many of those promoted from the lowest class have only been a month or two in the school, having commenced school at 6 or 6½ years of age.
