…eight children were promoted to St I from the II Class (Sexes). This quarter, 25 more children have been sent up making a total of 33 children promoted to St I during the first half of the school year. The class work has been retarded many of the children having been promoted solely on account of their age, and not because of their ability to do more difficult work. The attendance is very much down this week owing to the unsatisfactory state of the weather, and the children having colds. The average attendance has decreased from 138 to 127. E.J.B
